Changes between the Joker's Wild Jr. CD-i game and the normal show's lengthy
syndicated run:
Marc Summers hosts.
Up to four people can play.
All questions are multiple choice.
The values of each combination is the same as before (single worth $50, double $100, triple $200). A natural triple is worth $300, while three jokers is worth $500.
The game does not continue after round one if there is a tie.
The bonus round is replaced with a round where the opponents try to catch the leader. Each player picks a category for use in the entire round. Each category can be played by one player only. Categories are selected in the order of finish in the first round, from most money to least. In a single player game, the object is to surpass either $1500 or your previous high score, whichever is greater. After spinning the wheels, a question is asked for that dollar value. A correct answer allows you to spin again while a wrong answer ends the round. A dragon, not a devil, takes away all money earned in round 2.
A final question called The Joker's
Challenge is given to the winner of a multiple player game. In a single
player game, the question is given if you beat your previous high score.
A correct response is noted with that player's score in the high score list.

A wide shot of the set. How geometric. Picasso would be proud. |

The joker, apparently marching in a joyous manner. |
This & That for $100 or World Atlas for $50? |
|
Here's the question. |
The right answer is "The Boy Scouts of America". |
|
Your score is $100. |

Just like the second round of the CD-i adaptation of the "adult" Joker's Wild game, each player chooses a category for the round. |
![]() $100...$300...$500. Now that's a darn good spin. Natural triples aren't worth a bonus in this part of the game. |
![]() The goal in a single player game is $1500 to start. You can hold after you hit that threshold or continue. |

Ouch! There's the |
![]() No rapping from this dragon. He takes your 2nd round money, as well as causing a wall of fire to climb up the screen. |
The high scores list. Finding the dragon takes away a chance at the Joker's Challenge. $500 is still good enough to make the list. |
